His Excellency, Dr Fawaz Al-Alamy is a seasoned advisor to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a former Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry.

H.E. Dr Al-Alamy is the author of two books: “Understanding Globalization” and “The Accession of Saudi Arabia to the WTO”. He is also the Chairman of Northern Trust Company in Saudi Arabia, a member of the boards of Saudi Transport & Investment Company (Mubarrad), Al-Bakri Holding Group and Al-Fatah Water Security Company. H.E. Dr Al-Alamy has a PhD in energy physics from the University of Kent and a business and finance diploma from Stanford University. He is a member of the International Trade Experts Team of the WTO and a visiting professor in trade law at London City University (UK).
